Our client is a leading utility company with a healthy order book.Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV projects up to 33kv.
Salary to £70k | Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card | Bonus | Pension | 25Days Holiday + bank holidays
Key Essentials:
* Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve managing deep excavation for power projects involvingcivils, cabling and reinstatement
* Overseeing Supervisors, you will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client
* Full responsibility for ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly
* Working closely with Project Quantity Surveyors having full commercial awareness of projects
* Ensuring that Project Planners are updated regularly
* Overall responsibility for ensuring that all required plant and materials are on-site when required
* Carrying out regular site audits
Requirements:
* Previous project management experience of civils deep excavation power works and cabling with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications
* Commercial awareness with good knowledge of CDM Regs.
* Good I.T skills having ideally used planning software
